a heart for the dominican republic

Rick Pina is the first of his family to be born in the United States.  His mother, Maria Nunez, emigrated from the Dominican Republic in 1970 and Rick was born in Brooklyn, NY, two years later.

As a child Rick visited his homeland every year and he cherishes his Dominican roots.

On this page you will see several photo galleries of missions work RIPMinistries has done in the Dominican Republic

christmas food drive 2020

RIPMinistries normally gives out toys (to the disadvantaged in the Dominican Republic) for Christmas.  But this year, due to COVID-19, we gave out groceries to 400 families in the rural areas of La Vega, DR.

feeding prisoners

RIPMinistries feeds the prisoners in La Vega, Dominican Republic a few times a year.  Every September we feed about 1,000 prisoners.  The following is a video of one of the events. A special thanks to our team in La Vega and all our partners and supporters for helping us share the love of God.

sharing the love of god

Here are a few pictures of our team sharing food with those in need.  A special thanks, again, to our partners and supporters, who help us do this.  We could not do it without you!

PUNTA CANA

partnership

RIPMinistries partners with a church in Punta Cana to help families there.  Punta Cana is a resort town, where the wealthy visit from all over the world.  However, many of the locals are living in abject poverty.  We are thankful to share the love of God with this community.
